Potrero, Costa Rica web site. This is a from scratch site designed by Kurt Stirnkorb that is a portal of sorts for the Central American country of Costa Rica with an emphasis on the province of Guanacaste and the town/community of Portrero. The site boasts a business directory (quite possible the largest one for costa rica) of nearly 7,000 difirent listings, complete with phone, address and geographical information. In addition, extensive information can be found regarding each and every city in the country including locale, weather, nearby towns and distance from airports. Relevant data on schools, provincial and national news, and facts on everything related to the country can be found here along with a gallery of various images. The site was also built to help promote the development of a commercial property called the Americal on a piece of land just 50 meters from the Pacific Ocean located in Potrero.
Scope:
Our job was to provide marketing research to obtain information on businesses located in the region of the province of Guanacaste and the town of Potrero in Costa Rica. We entered 7,000 listings with detailed information on business names, phone numbers, addresses, geographical information into a MySQL database.
